ST MARTINS CAREER DAY 2016

History was made on 24^th February, 2016 when our dear school had her maiden education of Career Day.  The objective or main aim for organising this event was to create awareness on various professions/career to pupils and give them the opportunity to have 1^st hand knowledge from the professionals in these fields of human endeavour.  

Some of the costumes were sought for in the market and made available in the school for the purpose of uniformity and easy access for parents.

The event took place at Calabar Hall and it started at 10:00am with Red carpet. The main programme started at 11:00am 

 There were 10 resource persons in attendance.   They were all given 15-20 minutes for presentations.  They all did very well and were able to interact with the pupils.  Each resource person had a group photograph with his/her group.

The resource persons in attendance were:

1)  Dr. Ajogwu              -        Medical Doctor

2) Barr. Mrs.  Ofoegbunam       -        Lawyer

 3) Engr. Dafe Timothy -Engineer

4) Mrs. CJB-Ike  -Lab Technician, Lagos University Teaching Hospital

 5) Mr. Adewale- Journalist (Thisday Newspaper)

 6)Miss Hellen Yemi Olagoke (Nigerian Army) 

7)Mr. Casmir         -        Teacher

 8)Nigerian Police Surulere Division     -Superintendent Ronke Taiwo. (Admin Officer Area C)

 9)Mrs. Vivian Okafor  -Art & Craft Entrepreneur

10) Union Bank Plc              -        Representatives
